Police hunting man who led them from NSW to QLD

Police are still hunting a man who stole cars and refused to pull over for them, travelling from the New South Wales border to a location north of the Gold Coast.

Just before midday on Tuesday the man allegedly drove away from a petrol station at Wallangarra in NSW in a stolen car without paying for his fuel.

He is believed to have travelled along the New England Highway.  Tyre spikes were rolled out on the Cunningham Highway but they failed to stop the man who continued north.
