Police hunting masked man after attempted robbery of Biggera Waters business

Investigations are underway after a masked man attempted to rob a pharmacy armed with a hammer in Biggera Waters overnight.

The man walked into the Brisbane Road business around 7.20pm and made demands for drugs.

The pharmacist refused, with the man then forced to leave the pharmacy empty-handed.

Police said the man had his face covered with a black mask.

He is described as solid, approximately 178cm tall, and was last seen wearing grey track pants, white t-shirt, thongs, gloves, and a baseball cap.
