Police hunting stranger who stabbed pet dog to death in Perth park
A pet dog has been stabbed to death in a horrific attack at a public park in Perth.
According to WA Police, a 22-year-old woman was exercising her 4-year-old Labrador off lead when a man allegedly approached the dog and attacked it.
The shocking incident occurred around 6.00pm on Wednesday at the Apple Blossom Polyantha Reserve at Mirrabooka.
The woman rushed her pup to a veterinary hospital, however it could not be saved.
The alleged attacker is described as tall, white skinned, with a light coloured beard and wearing a tan coloured hoodie and dark pants.
It’s not yet known what sparked the frenzied attack.
