Police hunting thieves after $200K painting stolen from NSW home
A valuable painting worth around $200,000 has been stolen from a home in NSW.
On Sunday, the resident of a home on Beattie Street in Balmain, was in the process of moving out, when it is believed the painting was stolen from inside the home.
Police said a set of stereo speakers were also stolen at the same time.
The painting, by Colin John McCahon, is called Comet (F13) and has approximate dimensions of 100cm x 75cm.
