‘Police incident’ closes part of Pacific Highway in NSW
UPDATE: All north and southbound lanes of the Pacific Highway have been reopened on the NSW North Coast following an earlier police incident.
Officers were forced to reduce northbound traffic to just one lane while they responding to an incident at Coffs Harbour.
The incident has since been resolved and traffic has returned to normal.
Police said no delays are expected.
EARLIER: A police incident is holding up traffic on the Pacific Highway at Coffs Harbour, on the NSW North Coast.
The highway has been reduced from two to just one northbound lane near Combine Street.
The exact details of the police incident remain unclear.
Motorists have been asked to allow extra time when travelling through area.
