MYSTERY surrounds how a man ended up unconscious on a Burleigh Heads footpath with serious head injuries last month.
Police say the 64-year-old man was out socialising on Sunday night, May 25 and caught a taxi with friends from Nobbys Beach to the Esplanade at Burleigh Heads around 10.30pm.
It’s believed the man, who at the time was wearing a distinctive pink t-shirt, then walked towards a nearby high-rise residence on the Gold Coast Highway.
