A fire that ripped through a house in Sydney’s south-west early this morning is being treated as suspicious, police say.
Emergency services were called to the house ablaze on Yarrawin Way at Airds shortly after 4am.
Fire crews arrived to the find the home well alight.

Crews worked hard to fight the flames and save what they could, but the house was destroyed.
Police said the residents were not home at the time the fire started.
Detectives have declared the property a crime scene and say they are treating the fire as suspicious.
