Police investigating after car flips at major Gold Coast intersection

POLICE are investigating a nasty crash on the Gold Coast.

It’s understood a car rolled at the intersection of Bundall Road and Slatyer Avenue around 3.00am on Monday morning.

Officers initially found nobody in the vehicle when they arrived and found the badly damaged car resting on its side.

However, two people were tracked down by officers a short time later.

A Queensland Police spokesperson has confirmed they are still assisting police with their inquiries.

Motorists are still being warned of delays, with  two lanes of Bundall Rd northbound still closed off at the time of writing.
