Police are investigating after an older man allegedly asked a young girl if he could take her photo in a frightening child approach incident near Coffs Harbour yesterday.
Between 12pm and 2pm Thursday 17 December, a 6-year-old girl was standing at the end of the Urunga Boardwalk in Morgo Street, Urunga.
Police have been told an unknown man sitting nearby on the boardwalk, spoke to the girl and asked to take a photograph.

The girl said no and the man left the area.
As inquiries into the incident continue, police would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist them.
He is described as being an older male with short grey hair, wearing shorts, t-shirt and blue thongs and had a medium sized black and white camera around his neck.
