Police investigating armed robbery at public toilet block

Police are on the hunt for two men after an armed robbery at a public toilet block in Beaudesert last night.

It’s believed the 26-year-old victim entered a public toilet block on Beaudesert Nerang Road and Brooklands Drive around 7.30pm, where he noticed a man.

He was then approached by a second man from behind, who was armed with a knife.


The man demanded the victim’s wallet and phone, before both men then locked the victim in a cubicle with a rope.

The men fled, and the victim had to force his way out of the cubicle before he called police.

He was not injured in the incident.

One of the men is being described as Caucasian, around 180 centimetres tall with a slim build and dirty blonde hair.

He’s believed to have been wearing a white hoodie and dark pants.

The second man is being described as Caucasian, around 160 centimetres tall with short black hair, a moustache, beard and goatee.

He’s believed to have been wearing a black zip hooded jumper and blue jeans.
