Police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit by a car in Sydney’s CBD overnight, but left the scene before paramedics arrived.
About 12.30am, emergency services were called to Pitt Street, following reports of a crash.
Police were told a man had sustained a head injury after being struck by a white Mercedes, but left before receiving medical attention.

The driver of the car, a 24-year-old woman was uninjured and subjected to a roadside breath test, which returned a positive result.
She was arrested and taken to Day Street Police Station before being taken to Sydney Eye Hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.
Police are urging the man or anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact Sydney City Police Station or Crime Stoppers.
