Police investigating series of luxury car thefts across Gold Coast

Investigations are underway after three luxury cars were stolen from a home in Surfers Paradise this morning.

Police say that around 3.00 am, a residence along Admiralty Drive was broken into, with a Ferrari and Mercedes and a Porsche all stolen.

The Ferrari was found at the Logan Hyperdome undamaged, while the Porsche was found at Spruce Street in Loganlea a short time later.

Officers are still trying to locate the grey 2020 Mercedes Benz sedan with Queensland rego 618AD9.

While those responsible are still on the run.

Police are also looking into another car theft incident at Clear Island Waters, where a 20-year-old woman woke to a loud bang and saw her Lexus crashed across the street.

It’s believed to have been stolen from the carport and driven through a closed gate before crashing on Bollard Circuit.

Investigations are ongoing.
