Investigations are underway into a suspicious unit fire in Logan this morning.
Emergency services were called to a home in Kingston around 5.15am, after reports it was on fire.
Luckily, the fire was quickly extinguished.

There was only one person home at the time – a 29-year-old resident – who managed to escape by breaking through a window at the rear of the unit and climbing out.
Apart from some minor lacerations, he was otherwise uninjured.
The fire caused considerable damage to the downstairs interior, though luckily not much structural damage.
Early investigations suggest the fire was deliberately lit at the front of the unit by an accelerant.
Investigations are continuing.
