EARLIER: POLICE are seeking urgent public assistance to help find a woman and her eight-month-old son who were last seen at a bus stop on Brisbane’s southside.

An Amber Alert was issued on Friday for the infant who police say was taken by a 19-year-old woman from an address at Holland Park on Thursday morning.

Police confirmed the woman is known to the child; she is believed to be his mother. The pair was last seen at a bus stop on Logan Road around 10.35am.

Authorities fear the 8-month-old may be at significant risk after his mother failed to take him to a scheduled appointment.
