Gable Tostee charged with murder over Surfers balcony fall

POLICE have charged Gable Tostee with murder following investigations into a Surfers Paradise highrise death last week.

The 28-year-old was processed at Surfers Paradise police station after being arrested at his parents home at Carrara.

He was quickly taken into custody and charged just after 2pm on Friday.

The arrest comes a day after fatal plunge victim Warriena Wright’s sister made a emotional plea to answers about what led to her death.

The New Zealand fell to her death from the 14th floor of Mr Tostee’s balcony in the Avalon Apartments building in Surfers Paradise in the early hours of last Friday morning.

He will front Southport Magistrates Court tomorrow.
