Police make fresh appeal for witnesses of serious Gold Coast crash

POLICE have made a fresh appeal for anyone who may have witnessed a crash in Bilinga earlier this year.

It’s believed a grey BMW, which was travelling north on the Gold Coast Highway, collided with a white Toyota Prado at the intersection of Kirribin Street around 9.00am on Friday March 15.

An 81-year-old man behind the wheel of the BMW and his 72-year-old male passenger were trapped in the vehicle for some time and firefighters needed to use the jaws of life to free at least one of them.
