A NSW police officer has been charged after being caught drink driving earlier this month.
The female detective senior constable was pulled over for a random breath test in Emu Plains at 8.00pm on March 3, where she returned a positive breath test and was immediately arrested.
It’s believed the senior constable is attached to a specialist command, though was off duty at the time of the breath test.

It’s the officer’s second low range PCA offence.
She was taken to Penrith Police Station, where she returned an alleged breath analysis reading of 0.067.
The officer was issued a Future Court Attendance Notice for driving with low range PCA, and will appear at Penrith Local Court on Thursday April 18.
She will continue normal administrative duties in the meantime, and is subject to internal management actions.
