Police officer charged with stalking and intimidation

A police officer has been charged with stalking and intimidation offences by the NSW Police Force’s Professional Standards Command.

The 50-year-old male Senior Constable, who is attached to a Western Region command, was arrested on Tuesday (25 August 2015).

He was charged with intimidation with intent to cause fear of physical or mental harm, stalking with intent to cause fear of physical or mental harm, and 12 counts of unauthorised access (COPS).

The events are alleged to have occurred between February and June this year.

The man has been granted bail to appear in Gosford Local Court on Tuesday 22 September 2015.

The officer is currently suspended from duty with pay.
