Police officer in court following breach of bail and apprehended violence order

A police officer will appear in court following alleged breaches of bail and an apprehended violence order (AVO).

The alleged incident occurred on the evening of Saturday 26 September 2015.

The off duty 37-year-old Senior Constable, attached to a Local Area Command within the North West Metropolitan Region, was charged with breach bail and breach AVO.

He was bail refused and appeared at Parramatta Bail Court on Sunday 27 September 2015, where he was refused to appear at Penrith Local Court today (Monday 28 September 2015).

The officer is suspended with pay.
