Police on the hunt for males driving in stolen Mercedes following spate of robberies

Police are looking for at least two males and a stolen white Mercedes AMG sedan (NSW registration: CWK70W) that was used during a spate of robberies in Sydney’s Hills district.

About 2.20pm (Sunday 13 December 2015), two males broke into a home on Bridgeview Crescent, Bella Vista, and stole a laptop computer and personal documents. No one was at home at the time of incident although a neighbour witnessed the pair leaving in a white Mercedes AMG sedan.

Around 3.10pm, two males broke into a home on Chepstow Drive, Castle Hill. Once inside the home, they confronted a 16-year-old boy who was home alone, threatening him with a screw driver, before stealing his phone, a lap-top computer and a small amount of cash. The pair fled the scene in a white Mercedes AMG sedan.

About 20 minutes later, at 3.30pm, a 53-year-old woman was talking to her son outside a home on Pentonville Parade at Castle Hill, when a white Mercedes AMG sedan pulled up alongside the woman. The car’s front-seat passenger stepped out of the vehicle and attempted to snatch the woman’s bag.

She resisted the male and a struggle ensued, during which a number of nearby residents came to the woman’s aid.

The male took the bag and got back into the Mercedes which sped off.

Witnesses reported seeing three males travelling in the Mercedes.

Police are now searching for the males responsible for the incidents as well as the car they were travelling in.

One of the males is described as being aged in his late teens or early 20s, of Caucasian appearance, around 185cm tall, of thin build with short blonde hair. At the time of the incidents, he was wearing a loose-fitting white shirt and blue tracksuit pants.

Another one of the males is described as being aged in his late teens or early 20s and of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance. At the time of the incidents, he was wearing a black and red bandana over his face and black tracksuit pants.

The third male is not further described.

They were seen travelling in a stolen white Mercedes AMG sedan (NSW registration: CWK70W).
