Police are looking for a motorbike which was taken from the scene of a fatal accident in Sydney’s southwest last night.

About 9.40pm, a 24-year-old man was riding a motorcycle on Noble Avenue, Greenacre.

Early investigations suggest the rider has been thrown from the bike as he negotiated a roundabout at the intersection of Greenacre Road.

He suffered critical injuries and died en route to Liverpool Hospital.

Police say the motorbike he was riding was removed from the scene before they arrived.

A crime scene was established while investigations into the crash, and the whereabouts of the motorbike commenced.

About 10.15pm, officers attended a home on Noble Avenue where they seized two motorcycles for forensic examination.

Investigations continue, and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
