A MAN has been arrested and charged with attacking police and paramedics at a house in Sydney’s south.
Ambulance officers were called to reports of a woman needing assistance at the Karimbla Road home at Miranda around 1.30pm on Tuesday.
While paramedics were treating the woman, a 57-year-old man allegedly stepped in and stopped them from helping her.

The man allegedly became aggressive and threatened to assault one of the ambulance officers.
Police were called and tried to detain the man but he allegedly turned on them as well, grabbing hold of one officer and refusing to let go.
Officers wrestled with the man for a short time before he was eventually restrained and handcuffed.
He was taken to Miranda Police Station and charged with obstruct/hinder ambulance officer providing service to other, common assault, two counts of assault officer in execution of duty, and resist officer in execution of duty
The 57-year-old was granted conditional bail to appear at Sutherland Local Court on Thursday, November 23.
