Police probe cause of crash that seriously injured woman in Qld

Police are investigating a serious traffic crash that left a woman with serious injuries north-west of Brisbane.

The crash happened in the country town of Yarraman at around 10:45am on Sunday.

Police said initial investigations suggest a dual cab utility was headed north on the D’Aguilar Highway when it collided with a car turning right onto the highway from Emmert Street.

The driver of the car, a woman in her sixties, was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious condition.

The driver of the dual cab was transported to the Kingaroy Hospital with minor injuries.

Investigations are continuing.
