Police probe man’s mysterious disappearance from ritzy Sydney suburb

POLICE are appealing for public assistance to help locate a man who went missing from an affluent middle-class neighbourhood in Sydney two days ago.

Azad Uddin, aged 30, was last seen leaving a home on Longueville Road at Lane Cove about 1.30pm on Friday.

It’s understood He spoke with his mother about 3.30pm and said he was on his way home, but he never arrived and hasn’t been seen since.

Officers attached to North Shore Local Area Command were contacted and launched an investigation into his disappearance.

Police hold concerns for Azad’s welfare due to a medical condition.

He is described as being of Indian Sub-Continental appearance, clean shaven, about 165cm tall and of medium build.

Azad was last seen wearing a navy tracksuit jacket, black tracksuit pants and black sneakers.
