Police raids net teens on drug and graffiti charges on the Gold Coast

Two teenage boys have been arrested and charged with multiple graffiti and drug offences following police raids in Coomera.

Detectives from the Gold Coast Child Protection and Investigation Unit on Wednesday executed two search warrants in Coomera following an investigation into the wilful damage of several homes throughout the northern Gold Coast suburb.

During the raids, officers allegedly found graffiti implements and other items relevant to the alleged offences, as well as small quantities of dangerous drugs.


Two boys aged 15 and 16 were arrested and have since been charged with a range of offences, including entering a premises and committing an indictable offence, possessing graffiti implements, possessing suspected stolen property, possessing dangerous drugs, possess thing (Drugs Misuse Act) and five counts of wilful damage by graffiti.

They will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justices Act 1992.
