Police release CCTV of man wanted over indecent assaults on Sydney buses

NSW Police have released CCTV footage of a man they’re looking to speak to over at least two indecent assaults on Sydney buses.

Police launched an investigation following a report stemming back to April 11, in which a woman was allegedly assaulted on a city bus.

The 23-year-old boarded the 607X Rouse Hill-bound bus at Town Hall at 7.40pm on April 11.

Police have been told a man also boarded the bus at Town Hall and sat next to the woman, before allegedly touching her inappropriately.

The woman fended off the man’s advances before getting up and moving away from the man.

He was seen to leave the bus at the Merrivale T-Way bus stop.

Following investigations, police believe the same man may have been in another similar incident on the same bus route from July 2018.

Investigators have now released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their inquiries.

He is described as being of Indian Sub-Continental appearance, about 30 to 40-years-old, with a thin build, small hands, black hair and a beard.
