Police release image after man sexually assaulted

Detectives investigating the sexual assault of a man at Woollahra in September have released a composite image of a man they would like to speak with.

About 9.30am on Monday 21 September 2015, a 22-year-old man was sexually assaulted in his home on Edgecliff Road after meeting another man on a mobile dating app.

Investigators from Rose Bay Local Area Command were notified of the incident the following day and commenced an investigation.

Following these investigations, detectives have released an image of a man they would like to speak with who may be able to assist them with inquiries.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance with a thin build, 70 to 75kg, approximately 27 to 29 years-old with hazel eyes and freckles on his cheeks.

He also had a long, pointy nose, thin lips and a slight stomach bulge.

The man was last seen wearing a grey-coloured long-sleeve collared shirt, dark-coloured acid washed jeans, and black-coloured “Vans” branded shoes.

He also wore a green and brown leather-style bracelet joined together with a metal clip and a black backpack similar to a camera bag.

Anyone with information about this man is urged to contact Paddington Detectives on (02) 8356 8299 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
