Police release more CCTV linked to Gold Coast bikie murder

QUEENSLAND Police have released more CCTV linked to the murder of notorious bikie, Shane Bowden, on the Gold Coast.

Bowden was killed in October last year after he was shot in an execution-style murder outside his Pimpama home.

Gold Coast and Homicide Detectives on Tuesday released more CCTV footage related to the case, showing a fresh vehicle and two people of interest.

The vision shows two men loading fuel containers into the rear of a dark blue Kia Cerato, which has been identified as a hire car with Queensland registration 089YQR.

The two men in the footage associates of members of the Mongols OMCG and police suspect the pair obtained the fuel containers and hire car on behalf of the bikie gang to later use to burn the Ford Falcon and Holden Commodore ‘getaway’ vehicles.

Last week detectives released CCTV footage of the Falcon and Commodore being driven a week before the murder.

Detectives are appealing for anyone who may have knowledge of the Kia Cerato or these two males to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Police Link on 131 444.

A $250,000 reward remains on offer for information that leads to the conviction of the person, or persons, found to be responsible for the killing and an indemnity from prosecution will be recommended for any accomplice, not being the person who actually committed the crime, who first gives such information.
