Teenage girl missing from Beenleigh found safe and well

UPDATE: A teenage girl missing from the Beenleigh area since Saturday, December 5 has been located safe and well.

The 15-year-old was reported missing after she failed to make make contact with family and friends.

Police have thanked the public and media for their assistance.


EARLIER: Police are again asking for public assistance to help locate a girl reported missing from the Beenleigh area since Saturday December 5.

The 15-year-old girl was last seen at an Eagleby address around 3.35pm that afternoon. She has not been heard from since which is out of character with concerns being held for her welfare.

Police have conducted extensive inquiries but have not been able to locate her. She is known to frequent railway stations and possibly the Beaudesert area.

She is described as Caucasian, 160cm tall with a proportionate build, long dark brown hair sometimes worn in a ponytail.

When last seen she was wearing black jeans, black top and black shoes.

Anyone who may have seen her, or has any information in relation to her current whereabouts is urged to contact police.
