Police renew search for 12-year-old girl’s remains in NSW bushland
Police will continue their search in bushland south of Sydney for the remains of murdered schoolgirl Quanne Diec.
The 12-year-old was abducted a few hundred metres from her home in Granville in 1998, and police have announced there will be a new three-day search for the girl’s remains.
Last year, a 49-year-old man accused of murdering the schoolgirl led police to dense bushland, where her body is believed to be buried, but her remains were not found.
The case was re-opened in 2013.
