Manhunt continues after shooting on the northern Gold Coast
UPDATE @ December 8, 6.25am: POLICE are still hunting two men after another man was shot in the eye on the northern Gold Coast yesterday.
The shooting happened in the driveway of a home on Roe Street in Upper Coomera just after 8.00am.
The victim, a 36-year-old man, was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
Police say the weapon used in the shooting is believed to have been a handgun, with the man lucky to have not received a more serious injury.
A crime scene has been established on the suburban Gold Coast street with a number of locations taped off.
Anyone with information or dash cam footage is being urged to contact police.

EARLIER @ 8.50am: POLICE have confirmed they are investigating a ‘possible’ shooting incident on the northern Gold Coast.
It’s understood the incident happened on Roe Street in Upper Coomera around 8.30am.
Queensland Ambulance confirmed to myGC that a man, aged in his 30s, had been treated for a wound.
He has since been taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
A crime scene has been established on the suburban Gold Coast street with investigations underway.
