Police are appealing for public assistance as they investigate the death of a man whose body was found in a storm water drain in Gladstone last week.
On May 25, officers were alerted after human remains were discovered in a drain on Benaraby Road.
An autopsy on the body was completed today, with police revealing that the remains belong to 37-year-old Peter Michael Ceremunga

Detectives are now appealing for public assistance from anyone who knows Mr Ceremunga and has been in contact with him over the last few weeks or saw him around the period of mid to late May to contact them.
A cause of death has not yet been determined.
