WATCH: Police search for two men after break & enter, arson at Gold Coast car yard

Police are searching for two men in relation to the break and enter of a Molendinar car yard and arson last weekend.

Around 1.00am on Saturday May 4, two men forced entry into the business on Industrial Avenue, which is used by a tow-company to secure damaged vehicles from traffic incidents.

Investigations indicate the pair entered several vehicles before one of the men started driving an ice-cream truck around the car yard.


He then set the van on fire, which quickly spread to a nearby Jeep Cherokee and Alfa Romeo.

The pair then fled the scene on foot.

Fire fighters attended and extinguished the blaze, which had destroyed all three vehicles.

Police are calling on public assistance to locate to the two men.

They’re believed to be in their 20s and of Caucasian appearance.
