A woman has been killed in a hit and run incident in Sydney’s south west, with Police hunting for the driver of a white ute.
Emergency services were called to Henry Lawson Drive at Milperra around 4.30am on Sunday, where they found the female pedestrian on the ground.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the woman couldn’t be saved.

“The officers established a crime scene and spoke to witnesses while Ambulance paramedics attempted to resuscitate the woman, but sadly were unsuccessful,” Police said in a statement.

“It is believed that the woman was struck by an older model white Toyota utility.”
It drove off and was last seen travelling south on Henry Lawson Drive.
It’s believed the vehicle would have lost a side mirror as a result of the collision.
