Police searching for 11yo girl missing from Gold Coast

Police are calling for help to locate a young girl missing from Main Beach for almost a week.

The 11-year-old was last seen at an address along Cronin Avenue around 8.30pm on Tuesday August 18.

Police and family hold concern for her welfare, given her age.

She’s described as Caucasian, around 150centimetres in height, with a slim build, blonde hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing a grey hoodie and black shorts, but could also be carrying a second pink hoodie.

She doesn’t have money or a phone and is known to visit Burleigh Hill, Keebra Park and the Southport Pony Club.

Police are also looking into whether a white Mercedes Benz, which was observed near the residence where she was last seen, is connected.

Anyone who has seen her or has further information is urged to contact police.
