Elderly woman missing from Elanora found safe and well

UPDATE @ September 17, 6.00 AM | An elderly woman reported missing from Elanora on Monday has been found.

Queensland Police confirmed the 75-year-old was located safe and well overnight.

Officers have thanked the media and members of the public for their help.


EARLIER @ September 16, 2.30 PM | Police are appealing for help from the public to help find a 74-year-old woman who has gone missing from Elanora.

The woman was last seen leaving a home on Guineas Creek Rd around 10.20am this morning.

Police say she suffers from a medical condition and they and her family hold concerns for her welfare.

She is described as Caucasian, around 156cm tall, proportionate build, with white hair and blue eyes, and was last seen wearing a grey long-sleeve top, black pants, black leather sneakers and was carrying a large brown leather bag at the time.

Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is asked to urgently contact police.
