Police searching for man over indecent assault on train Sydney’s west

NSW Police have released images of a man they would like to speak to following the alleged indecent assault of another man at a train station in Sydney’s west.

It’s understood a 26-year-old man was standing on Platform 1 at North Strathfield Railway Station just after 8pm last Sunday when he was approached by another man.

The pair engaged in a brief conversation.

As the first man walked towards the oncoming train, the second man allegedly indecently assaulted him and followed him onto the train before getting off at Strathfield Station.

The victim reported the incident and police are now searching for a man they say ‘may be able to assist with inquiries’.

He is described as being aged 20 to 25, Pacific Islander appearance, medium build with short brown “afro-style” hair.

He was wearing a grey-coloured jumper, green cargo pants and beige boat shoes.
