Police searching for rare motorhome stolen from west of Brisbane

POLICE are searching for a rare motorhome with a one-of-a-kind paint job stolen from a property in the Lockyer Valley, west of Brisbane.

The 1990 Chevrolet Dolphin Motorhome with right hand drive was taken from an address on Postman’s Track at Minden late on Monday night, November 19.

The vehicle was parked inside a property in a secluded area, around 15 minutes west of Ipswich, went it was pinched.

The motorhome has four large brown stripes down each side with QLD registration 417RTV and a custom paint job.

Police said the unique paint job combined with right hand drive meant it’s unlikely there are any similar vehicles on the road.

Investigators are urging anyone who may have seen this vehicle in the last few days either locally or interstate to come forward.
