Police seek help in locating stolen mobility scooter

POLICE are asking for our help to help find a red mobility scooter, stolen from the roadside of a busy Gold Coast street.

The scooter’s rider was forced to leave his ride on Gooding Drive between Palm Meadows Drive and Robina Parkway in Merrimac around 1.30pm on April 27 after experiencing a flat tyre whilst out and about.

As the man went to look for help, the scooter – a red 2004 Shop Rider, Rocky 4 – was stolen.


The scooter is one of 50 owned by the Rotary Club of Broadbeach and was on lease to the man at the time.

Police are hoping that by providing this information, there may be someone out there in the community who remembers seeing this scooter at this location on this particular day and has some information that can assisst in its recovery.
