Police are appealing to the public to help identify a man who was pulled from the water unconscious at Manly Beach in Sydney on Sunday afternoon.
The man, said to be aged in his 70s, was pulled from the surf at Manly Beach at around 3.30m.

He was rushed to Royal North Shore Hospital where police say he remains in a critical condition.
The man’s identity remains a mystery, however police say it’s thought he may be an experienced or regular swimmer.
He is described as being Caucasian in appearance, about 180cm tall with a slim build and short grey hair, and was wearning dark-coloured speedo’s.
Anyone with information that may assist in identifying the man is urged to come forward.
