UPDATE 5.20PM AEDT | A 10-YEAR-OLD boy who went missing from his family’s home in Sydney three hours ago has been found safe and well.
The child “ran away” from his Smith Street home at Kingsford around 2pm AEDT. Fortunately, the young boy was found safe and well within 30 minutes of police appealing for public assistance.
It’s understood a member of the public spotted the child and called police after seeing their appeal for help.

EARLIER: A FRANTIC land and air search is underway for a missing 10-year-old boy in Sydney.
Police said the child, known as Justice or ‘Juzzy’, ran away from his Smith Street home at Kingsford around 2pm on Thursday. He is on the autism spectrum and was last seen running towards Snape Park.
“His mother contacted police and a search for the young boy is now underway,” police said in a statement.
Justice is described as being Caucasian in appearance with blue eyes and a crew cut. He was last seen wearing grey shorts with a black T-shirt and black shoes.
A major co-ordinated search is underway involving local police, PolAir, Police Rescue and SES volunteers.
