Police seize firearms and cash from NSW home

A man is set to front court after police seized several firearms, a slingshot and thousands of dollars in cash from a home in Sydney’s inner west.

Replica pistols, a rifle, a slingshot and more than $17,000 cash were found yesterday when police raided the Station Street home in Newtown.

A 47-year-old man was charged with multiple offences including possession of unauthorised firearms and will appear at Newtown Local Court today.
