Police spat on by two seperate incidents over Easter weekend

TWO people are behind bars charged over two separate spitting attacks on Gold Coast police over the Easter weekend.

Police have alleged Scott Stalker, 21, spat blood and spittle on police after being ejected from the Coolangatta Sands Hotel on Saturday night.

It is alleged the Banora Point electrician later claimed to be HIV-positive.


In a separate incident a 31-year-old single mum was arrested outside Jupiters Casino at 1am on Monday morning and allegedly spat at two police officers who arrested her.

Both were refused bail in the Southport Magistrates Court and will return to court on May 6.
