Police take action against boys, as young as 7, over shocking school vandalism

Two boys, aged 10 and 11 have been arrested and charged and a 7-year-old boy has been cautioned, after the trio went on a vandalism spree throughout an Adelaide Primary school.

Just after 6.00pm on Monday, patrols responded to an alarm activation at the Forbes Primary School in South Plympton.

Upon arrival, officers discovered significant damage had been caused to the school, including paint splashed over walls, floors and carpets and damage to electronic equipment.

Three children were seen inside the building and attempted to run from officers, however they were quickly caught and detained.

A 10 and 11-year-old boy were charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass and property damage while a 7-year-old boy was returned home and cautioned.

Both boys have been bailed to appear in the Adelaide Youth Court at a later date.
