Police taser cartridge missing on the Gold Coast

POLICE are desperately searching for a police Taser cartridge which went missing on the Gold Coast on Friday.

The cartridge disappeared while police were responding to an incident in Surfers Paradise around 6.00pm on September 15.

The Taser cartridge is described as being the size of a matchbox, and is black with a silver door.

Police say the cartridge is to be treated as a dangerous item if found and members of the public are urged not to pick up or handle the cartridge.

Anyone who locates the cartridge is asked to call Policelink on 131 444 or phone their nearest police station.
