Police believe a series of armed robberies across the Gold Coast and Logan are linked, setting up a taskforce to track down those responsible.
The first hold-up happened at Oxenford on June 18, 2018 when three people allegedly stormed the Coomera Lodge Tavern on Maudsland Rd before threatening staff and fleeing with a large amount of cash.
One man was charged over that robbery while a 29-year-old Woodridge woman was arrested and charged this week.

Detectives have identified connections with the Oxenford hold up and robberies at Beenleigh and Ormeau in April this year and Greenbank in May.
Two men stormed the Beenleigh Tavern on Distillery Rd on April 4, with one of them firing a shot before the pair fled with cash.
The Norfolk Tavern at Ormeau was held up on April 27 with three men threatening staff with guns before again fleeing with cash.

The fourth robbery took place at the Pub Lane Tavern at Greenbank on May 17 where three men armed with a machete, axe and metal wrench threatened a female employee before stealing cash.
Detective Inspector Chris Knight from the Logan District Criminal Investigation Branch said the people responsible for these violent offences have displayed no regard for patrons and staff of the targeted businesses and used firearms and machetes to steal money.
“Detectives believe they pose a significant risk to the public and are devoted to arresting and prosecuting those responsible.
“The Taskforce, which includes detectives and intel analysts has identified a number of investigative options and remain hopeful that further arrests will follow.
“Due to the number of people involved in these robberies, I have no doubt that there are people in the community with knowledge that would assist this investigation and anyone with information are encourage to contact the investigating officers.”
