Police uncover $50,000 worth of baby formula in suburban home
Three people have been arrested after police uncovered a massive stash of allegedly stolen baby formula inside a suburban home in Victoria.
Officers raided a property at Abbotsford early Tuesday morning, before executing a search warrant on a second home at Hawthorn East a few hours later.
During the raids, police located baby formula and vitamins estimated to be worth a whopping $50,000.
At least $10,000 worth of wine and a large quantity of cash was also uncovered.
A 37-year-old man from South Melbourne has since been charged with seven counts of theft and commit indictable offence whilst on bail.
He appeared at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
While a 44-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman, both from Hawthorn East, were released pending summons.
