A man will face court today, charged over a bungled armed robbery attempt in southern NSW.
Police allege the 37-year-old man demanded drugs from a business on Laidlaw Street in Yass at around 4pm on Friday.
When a female employee refused, the man allegedly produced a modified razor and threatened the store manager.

However, the razor-wielding offender was forced to surrender when two police officers who were patrolling the area at the time casually walked into the business.
The officers swiftly secured the weapon and arrested the man.
He was taken to Yass Police Station and charged with attempted armed robbery.
The man was refused bail to appear in Goulburn Local Court today.
