Popular Christmas candle holders recalled over fire fears
A popular Christmas candle holder known to make an appearance on the family dining table once a year has been recalled over fears it may catch fire.
Big W issued the recall of its 2016 season Christmas Candle Holders with article numbers 484844, 484848 and 484846 on Wednesday.
“BIG W takes product safety seriously and wishes to advise customers of a product recall on the following product,” the department store said in a statement.
It’s understood the decorations surrounding the candle holder could catch fire.
“Potential burns or fire causing property damage, serious injury or death could occur,” the recall notice reads.
