Popular coconut milk ice-cream recalled nationwide
COYO has issued a recall of their Sea Salted Caramel Coconut Milk Ice Cream due to the presence of an undeclared allergen.
The popular coconut milk ice-cream product has been available for sale at independent retailers in NSW, QLD, VIC, SA and WA.
“The recall is due to the presence of an undeclared allergen (gluten)” Food Standards Australia and New Zealand said in a recall notice.
“Any consumers who have a gluten allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed.”
The recalled products have a best before date of: 08/04/18, 29/05/18, 27/06/18 and 02/08/18.
People with a gluten allergy or intolerance have been urged not to consume the product and to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
